03/06/2005 Advance Vehicle Rental sponsers field trip to Africa for cadets.
Advance Vehicle Rental are very pleased to come up trumps for local youngsters of the Norfolk Army Cadet Force in the summer of 2005.
Two cadets from disadvantaged backgrounds were unfortunately having difficulty in raising the £1500.00 required to participate in an amazing educational trip to South Africa. Advance Vehicle Rental was approched by Lt Col DB Hedges, asking for any possible assistance. Advance Vehicle Rental were pleased to support the Norfolk Army Cadet Force with their plight.
The donation Advance Vehicle Rental made, allowed the cadets to participate with their collegues on the trip to Durban in South Africa. The cadets stayed at the Duludla Zulu homestead, living with the Zulu people and learning all about traditional Zulu customs and culture. They also had the opportunity to trek through two of the oldest game reserves in Africa.
Advance Vehicle Rental are obviously proud to assist in helping the cadets to a once in a lifetime experience.
