10/02/2006 Advance Vehicle Rental sign for 70 Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles
Advance Vehicle Rental have committed to a vehicle deal worth in excess of £1.2 million.
Throughout the coming months Advance Vehicle Rental will be taking delivery of over 70 Volkswagen commercial vehicles, including the Caddy, variations of the LT35 and the ever popular Transporter van in both short and long wheelbase format.
Advance Vehicle Rental have run a selection of Volkswagen vans in the past however this has only been in limited numbers, with vehicles usually ordered only to fulfill specific customer requests.
Advance Vehicle Rental's Managing Director, Steve Ball, was enthusiastic about the Volkswagen deal, commenting “The addition of another prestige supplier, such as Volkswagen, to our ever expanding fleet of vehicles is excellent news for Advance Vehicle Rental and our customers”.
Steve Ball added “Volkswagen have a well earned reputation for producing reliable, modern and fuel efficient vehicles, all areas which are important to our customers, past dealing with Volkswagen have also proved they have the service and staff to back up their product”.
Advance Vehicle Rental will still have firm ties with suppliers such as Ford, Mercedes Vauxhall, Renault, and MAN, but the addition of Volkswagen to the list of suppliers is significant. Mr Ball added “Committing to an investment of this size doesn’t come without extensive research, research which has confirmed that Volkswagen vehicles will play a significant roll in Advance Vehicle Rental's continued expansion”.
